Aware
Advisor: Mikaela Simms
AWARE is a student group for students of color (BIPOC) that is working toward building consciousness in themselves and in their community. It was started in 1998 as a place for youth to share their experiences. |
Jazz Band
Director: Tom Nasiatka
The BAMS Jazz Band is open to any BAMS student who is interested in learning about jazz, improvisation, and/or just wanting to improve their/her/his instrumental music skills in a big-band setting. The Jazz Band rehearses weekly (the rehearsal night is chosen based on participants' availability) and performs at all BAMS concerts throughout the school year.

Selects (Choral Group)
Director:
BAMS Selects is a vocal ensemble that performs at all BAMS performances as well as the BUHS A Cappella Concert. Any student already participating in chorus is welcome to participate after completing an interview. Students meet once a week after school to prepare challenging and exciting music, develop advanced vocal technique, and have fun together! |

Student Leadership is a group of students who seek to influence the school by working to build a positive and inclusive culture at BAMS. We look for feedback from peers and teachers, we run activities, and we fundraise for local and school based organizations. Student leadership is a group for anyone that is interested from 7th and 8th grade. |

Yearbook involves taking pictures, creating a book, and developing funny captions. We also eat cookies at least once a month, as all good clubs should.
